Veterans Day 2023 will be on Friday this year. Every year it will observe on 11th November. There is a federal holiday on Veterans Day every year. If it occurs on Sunday then the federal holiday will be on Monday.
If there is a difference between 11th November and federal holiday dates then activities related to veterans day take place on both days. Often these activities are scheduled on weekends leading up to Vet Day 2023 even if both dates same during the year.

People use different ideas to show their respect for them because of their services to the country. Peoples visit the cemeteries of the deceased veterans who sacrificed their lives for the pride of the country and decorate their graves with flowers and National flags.
