What is Veterans Day and why do we celebrate it?

Originally it is called Armistice Day which was celebrated to honour the military members who died in war for the country. Every year, it is celebrated on 11th November.

Due to the sacrifices of the veterans we live in peace and enjoy our lifestyle. Many veterans sacrifice their lives for the country so that we live with our families and enjoy our life. It is our duty to honour the veterans on Veterans day because it is the best occasion to honour the veterans. By sharing the photos, memes, and jokes on social media on veterans day we can give tribute to the veterans and their family members.

In 1954 this day was changed to Veterans Day to honour all the veterans in all wars. On this day peoples of the US honour the American veterans for their heroism, love for the country, and their sacrifices for the country.
